Elected officials, activists gather to remember woman pushed onto subway tracks, killed

Times Square filled with mourners Tuesday night as elected officials, activists and friends gathered to remember a woman pushed onto the subway tracks and killed over the weekend.
They gathered to honor 40-year-old Michelle Alyssa Go. Leaders also spoke about the recent attacks against Asian Americans across the country and what can be done to stop it.
Go was pushed onto the subway tracks at the Times Square station by a man, according to police. They later arrested a 61-year-old homeless man named Simon Martial, who is now being charged with murder.
Many say more needs to be done for public safety and to allow her legacy to live on through good deeds and community service.
