The Patchogue Veterans of Foreign Wars was filled with Christmas spirit where families had dinner organized by Eileen's Home for the Holidays.
Peter Picataggio says he's been helping people in need during the holiday season for over a decade, and provides a full dining experience with waitresses, bus staff, and by taking orders.
Dozens of volunteers have been feeding people in need for 11-years, serving hundreds of meals at locations like the Patchogue VFW. The organization also offers delivery.
Donated coats and clothes were available, and children were given toys.
The organizer told News 12 that nearly everything was made possible through donations, including the food from local restaurants.
