Police have arrested a man accused of stalking several girls in Freeport.

Authorities say Edwin Bonilla, 30, approached two adolescent girls near Dodd Middle School on Tuesday. They have reason to believe he was behind at least four stalking incidents in October alone - on South Main Street, Guy Lombardo Boulevard and East Merrick Road.

In each case, the suspect allegedly asked the girls for their names, phone numbers and home addresses.

Bonilla's arrest follows that of Jason Good, who reportedly exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl in North Massapequa last month. Another man also tried to lure a Calhoun High School student into his car earlier this week.
