Residents in Point Pleasant took advantage of the mild weather and Easter weekend sales on Saturday for fun and shopping at Jenkinson's Boardwalk.

Attractions sold buy one, get one free tickets for rides, discounted games and family-fun packages.

The sale goes through Monday and the tickets are valid all season. This is a yearly tradition at Jenkinson's that families look forward to.

"Traditionally, people always come during Easter. They come with their kids, and then when they have kids, they bring them. So, it's a whole generational thing where when people think about Easter, they always think about Jenkinson's boardwalk's Easter sale," said Alex Taylor, Jenkinson's marketing manager.

Taylor added that a lot of people will be coming back Sunday for an Easter parade on the boardwalk scheduled for 1 p.m.
