Ashley and Josh Bard were planning to deliver their baby on Monday at Stony Brook University Hospital, but their baby boy had other plans for his grand entrance.

"He came fast and furious. Our baby boy was born in our car in front of Top Golf on the Long Island Expressway," says new mom Ashley Bard.

This is the East Quogue couple's first child. Their doula, Corrin Abbatiello who assisted them in the delivery added," I jumped out of my car and went into the back seat

and saw the baby's head and seconds later that baby was delivered in my hand, it was wild!"

The Suffolk County Police Department and several responding units then escorted the couple to Stony Brook University Hospital.
