A Long Island nursing home is being sued after male strippers showed up in the recreational room back in September 2012.
A picture obtained by News 12 Long Island shows 85-year-old Bernice Youngblood slipping a bill into a stripper's briefs.
Youngblood's son was apparently shocked when he came to East Neck Nursing Center in West Babylon and found the picture in his mother's night stand drawer. He says his mother suffers from severe dementia and Alzheimer's.
The home allegedly tried to snatch the picture away.
Bernice and her son are suing the facility, claiming the strippers were brought in for the pleasure of the staff. An attorney for the nursing facility admits there was in fact at least one stripper there that day, but he claims no one was coerced into doing anything, and that it wasn't the staff members' idea at all.
The attorney also says the nursing home's activity planning council, which consists of 16 residents, requested this activity. They then allegedly took a vote and unanimously approved the activity.
