Dinner and a show, it was popular in the 1930s and 40s - and you can still do it today.
News 12's Doug Geed visits the historic Suffolk Theater in Riverhead.
Bob Castaldi and his wife were looking for an investment property to restore - and they found a whopper of a project in downtown Riverhead.
A 1933 art deco theater once hailed as the Radio City Music Hall of Long Island. But it needed a tremendous amount of work.
It took years, but they painstakingly refurbished the Suffolk Theater to its original glory.

They have different events, and also do weddings.
The theater reopened about six weeks ago after a year-and-a-half shutdown due to the pandemic.
