56ds agoIn this week's East End segment, News 12's Doug Geed showcases two popular restaurants in Greenport.
Mike and Nikki Fortino opened a brand new pop-up restaurant called Fortino's Tavern.
Located on the busy Preston's Dock on the Greenport harbor front, the restaurant is attracting a lot of newcomers.
"The view is hard to beat. Especially with the outside seating I think it makes everyone a little more relaxed and comfortable. You get the breeze going and the salty air. You really can't beat it," says Mike Fortino.
On the outskirts of the village, there's Porto Bello.
The longtime popular restaurant is under new ownership.
"We have the picnic table area, we have the outdoor patio, we have the firepit, we have the Adirondack chairs," says Bruce Garritano.
