Police are asking for the public's help in catching the couple that ripped off a Bay Shore department store.

Suffolk police say the pair broke into a jewelry display case at a Macy's on the Sunrise Highway North Service Road last week.

Officials say the two made off with two white gold rings and diamonds worth around $1,200.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers 1-800-220-TIPS.
