The General Lee was stolen from a Suffolk auto body shop.Police say someone stole the "Dukes of Hazzard" replica car Wednesday from the Continental Car Care shop in Lake Ronkonkoma.Officials say they received a call around 10 p.m. for a stolen orange 1969 Dodge Charger with a rebel flag and an "01" on the door.The car was found Thursday morning in a field by a woman who recognized the vehicle from a report on News 12 Long Island. Robert Heller, the car's owner, said he was upset about the theft, but glad someone saw the story on News 12 Long Island and notified the police.The replica cars from the popular TV show and movie sell for thousands of dollars on eBay.
