Dream season continues for Port Washington Little League
The team is headed to Bristol, Connecticut for the first game of the regional tournament.

For the Port Washington Little League team, winning the New York State Championship was a moment they'll never forget.
"I was really, really happy. And I was in shock. It took a little bit to sink in," said Drew Theoharis, one of the players, after the title-clinching victory.
The team's success is the result of months of dedication, daily practices and a strong bond built over years of playing together.
"They're a true team," coach PJ Gorynski said. "They play together on the field, they work hard on the field, they hang out with each other off the field. A lot of these kids have been together since they're like 5 or 6 years old."
Now, the state champions are preparing for the next challenge: the Little League Regional Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut.
"Now they get to play on ESPN and play on an awesome field. It's the stuff that every kid across the country dreams of doing," Gorynski said.
With strong community support behind them, the team is focused on continuing its remarkable run.
"There's a lot of great teams out there, but I think we could go all the way," player Mickey Catuogno said.
