Dramatic video shows a wild police chase that spanned multiple boroughs and ended in Co-op City.
The NYPD says it began after the driver allegedly stole the vehicle on Staten Island just before 6 a.m. last Saturday.
At around 8:30 a.m., officers pinged the car from a license plate reader in Wakefield in the Bronx.
Video shows the driver making a U-turn on Hutchinson River Parkway and then driving against traffic.
It then turned into an all-out manhunt, as the driver pulled into a parking garage in Co-op City.
He was eventually found hiding inside a different vehicle inside the garage, where he was arrest.
"I saw it all," Co-op City resident Dana Harper said. "Helicopters, police cars. I saw them when they brought the guy out and thank God, because nobody got hurt."
The driver was identified as 26-year-old Co-op City resident Jade Williams.
He now faces more than a dozen charges, including criminal possession of stolen property and reckless endangerment.
