Dr. Thomas McGinn, the director of Health Innovations & Outcomes Research at Feinstein Institutes, spoke with News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen and answered COVID-19 questions from viewers.
Dr. McGinn was co-author on a JAMA paper about a study that linked hypertension, obesity and diabetes as comorbidities (the simultaneous presence of two chronic diseases or conditions in a patient) as key factors in the acuity of COVID-19 in some patients.
