He was 54 years old.
Sultan used his medical expertise and music to help others.
Northwell Health says Sultan was a respected and compassionate physician who left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
A prayer service will be held in his memory at Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead at 11 a.m. Thursday.
