In March, schools in the tri-state area closed, and families were forced to embark on a new educational journey - remote learning.
This way of learning wasn't only new for students, it was new for many teachers too.
News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen was joined by Mike Flynn, the Director of Mathematics Leadership Programs at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. Flynn created a virtual learning community to support educators in the transition to online learning.
Flynn shared what has been learned since March, and what needs to happen to be successful this fall.
