Police say vandals scrawled hate messages at a popular Dix Hills park frequented by young children.The spray painted words and a swastika are clearly visible in the part of the park where young children play. Visitors who came to use the slides and swings said they were horrified by what they saw. Helen Jablonowski has been bringing her daughter Sophia to the park for over a year. She says she has never seen anything like the graffiti, some of which was spray painted down the slides she plays on with her daughter. Jablnowski called the vandalism stupid, horrible and senseless.Suffolk Police are investigating.
