Dix Hills man convicted of fatally stabbing uncle; faces 25 years to life

The Nassau District Attorney says David Cahoon was found guilty of killing William Cahoon, who was found dead in his Levittown home about a month after the attack.

A Dix Hills man was convicted of fatally stabbing his 70-year-old uncle in 2019 and then stealing $1,800.
The Nassau District Attorney says David Cahoon was found guilty of killing William Cahoon, who was found dead in his Levittown home about a month after the attack.
William Cahoon was a regular at the Milleridge Inn and when he stopped coming to the restaurant, the staff went and checked in on him.
David Cahoon is due back in court for sentencing on July 7.
