Diocese of Rockville Centre’s ‘final offer’ to survivors of clergy abuse totals $200 million

The Diocese of Rockville Centres says it is making its “best and final offer” to survivors of childhood clergy abuse.
Survivors would receive at least $100,000, according to the new plan filed Tuesday. It is offering $200 million in total to survivors.
In January, the committee that represents all survivors had suggested a $450 million payout.
