Anti-police messages were found written in black spray paint on the sidewalk along South Road near Beaver Dam Creek, according to detectives.
Additional threatening messages were found on the center yellow line of Baycrest Avenue near Bishop Avenue.
Suffolk Crime Stoppers is asking anyone with information that could lead to an arrest to contact them.
