Nassau detectives say they captured the man who tried to murder two people in Hempstead.
Police say 30-year-old James Jacobs was driving down Saint Regis Place Sunday afternoon and fired five rounds at a man and woman in another car.
They say Jacobs was arrested early Monday morning and had a loaded gun with him.
The two people in the other car weren't injured.
Jacobs is now facing numerous charges, including attempted murder.
