Detectives say donations were stolen from a Mineola church on Thursday.
They say a man walked into Corpus Christi Church, located on Garfield Avenue, around 4 p.m., broke four donation boxes and then took the cash inside.
Hours later, money was stolen from a spa in Mineola. News 12 is told someone stole $50 from the Cologne and Spa on Jericho Turnpike.
Police say they do not know if the two burglaries are connected.
