An Amityville man was arrested in connection to a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident, officials say.

Detectives say they arrested 32-year-old Charles Carter around 11 p.m. Friday at a Farmingdale house.

Carter is charged with criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

He will arraigned later today.
