The MTA is working to get things back on track following a train derailment near Jamaica on Thursday.
All of the cars that ran off the track have been put back on the rails, MTA officials announced Friday afternoon.
Further repair work will continue through the weekend in an effort to get the LIRR back in "perfect working order" for Monday's rush.
There were cancellations and delays for some Long Island Rail Road passengers this morning.
A train heading toward Hempstead from Grand Central Madison veered of the tracks about a half a mile east of the Jamaica station around 11:20 a.m. Thursday with about 100 riders on board.
A total of 13 people were injured, according to the FDNY. Two of them had serious injuries.
