The controversial East End deer cull is providing meat for the Long Island's needy.
Island Harvest has already received up to 4,500 pounds of deer meat, according to Newsday.
However, the donation to help the Island's hungry isn't stopping the objections.
Animal groups say it still doesn't justify using sharpshooters to kill the deer.

It is still unclear how many deer have been shot, but the cull continues until later this month.
