8h agoA Mastic Beach man is charged with raping an underage girl he met on Snapchat, authorities say.
The Suffolk District Attorney says last month Renato Oliva Garcia picked up the underage girl and took her back to his house, where he allegedly raped her.
According to court documents, the girl was 11 years old.
Detectives say the 22-year-old had interacted with her on Snapchat for several weeks.
He faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
