More than three dozen people were arrested as part of a massive drugs and weapons takedown.
Suffolk District Attorney Raymond Tierney tells News 12 that 39 people have been arrested following long-term narcotics trafficking investigations.
Fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth and more were seized as part of these investigations between Brooklyn and Montauk.
One of the guns, officials say, was fired at two police officers while trying to arrest a suspect.
Now over three dozen defendants are facing a total of 389 counts, according to the district attorney.
Some of the charges the defendants are facing include conspiracy to distribute narcotics, attempted murder of two police officers and operating as a major trafficker.
