Gov. Andrew Cuomo has announced that his gambling plan does not include a casino on Long Island.

Cuomo says he wants three Las Vegas-type casinos upstate, two video slot machine centers in western New York and a five year moratorium on casinos in the city. However, Cuomo's plan does not include a video slot machine center on the island.

State lawmakers must still vote on allowing non-Indian run casinos, then voters could consider the issue as soon as November.
