A Suffolk Supreme Court judge has ordered Sloth Encounters in Hauppauge to halt pet sales.
The move comes after owner Larry Wallach was found guilty of violating previous court orders.
The Hauppauge-based business must immediately cease operating as a pet store or petting zoo -- or face a fine of $250 per day.
The Suffolk DA says Wallach violated the Environmental Conservation Law by having three Nile monitor lizards without a permit.
