RepGeorge Santos has appealed a federal judge's decision to unseal the names of those who co-signed his $500,000 bond.

A federal judge ordered the names to be released earlier this week after Santos' lawyer said the congressman would risk going to jail to keep the identities anonymous.

Santos pleaded not guilty last month to federal charges including money laundering and wire fraud.

The co-signers' names have been kept private pending an appeal from the congressman.

Santos is due back in court June 30.
