Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has now filed paperwork to stay open.
The decision came after an agreement was reached with the facility’s proposed buyer.
A judge still needs to sign off on the agreement.
As News 12 has reported, the nursing home told News 12 it was closing last month, leaving nearly 300 people scrambling to find a new place to live.
In December, the nursing home planned on evacuating residents and laying off workers, but a judge blocked the move.
