A Central Islip woman is accused of driving drunk and crashing twice with three young children along for the dangerous ride.
Police say 28-year-old Sabrina Andrade crashed head-on into an SUV on Connetquot Avenue just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
Andrade allegedly left the scene and did not stop until she slammed through a guardrail and into a tree.
The children in Andrade's car ranged in age from 3 to 9 years old. Police also say there was a woman and a 14-year-old in the SUV that Andrade struck.
No one was seriously hurt in either crash.
The children in Andrade's car went home with family members, and Andrade was arrested.
