Police are searching for the men who mugged a student in front of the Nassau Community College bookstore.

According to police, the 18-year-old was on Education Drive Monday evening in the East Garden City campus when the incident happened.

Police say two men punched him, pushed him on the pavement and took cash.

The men left in a brown Nissan Maxima.

So getting out the door this morning, give yourself some extra travel time. Let's take a look right now. You can see around Roslyn to sands, point to Kings Point these areas right here. You see these little areas of gray, there's even a chance of a little bit of sleet mixing in as the air turns colder from the top of the atmosphere as it comes on down. You're going to feel that chill. We have rainy conditions along the South state sunrise highway, getting towards Merrick Road. The lie the northern state slow it down. With this batch of heavy rain, there could be some more localized street flooding. And again where Cecilia is right now, we are watching that rain. We are near high tide times right now along the south shore. And with that rain, there could be some more water in some of the local streets in the neighborhoods along the south shore from Glen Head to Old Westbury Wheatley Road. We're looking at some heavier downpours and again, there could be a little bit of sleet mixing in with this batch of rain. I want to head out to Montauk right now. We just had a heavier shower move offshore but island wide, we are watching that wet weather here this morning and it's turning colder yesterday. We had highs fifties and sixties. Now we're down to 41 in Glencoe. 42. H said 41 in Valley Stream wind chills are in the thirties. Look at that. 33 in Hewlett. 38. Farmdale feels like 30 right now. In Iceland, the rain will start to taper off west to east as we get towards around 8 to 9 o'clock this morning. Much better weather with sunshine coming away for this afternoon. You can see around 415, the evening rush hour will be dry and it will be cold. A temperature. A high of 47 colder weather tonight at 3044 with sunshine on Tuesday. So again, the rain tapers off between eight and 11 o'clock this morning and most of our work week will be dry.
