Police say a collision involving a drunken driver caused another driver to lose control and smash her SUV into a home in Terryville.
Investigators say a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with 1999 Dodge Durango at the corner of Jayne Boulevard and Winston Lane shortly before midnight. The Jeep then crashed into a tree, struck a home and then came to rest on the home's porch, blocking the door.
Police say neither driver was hurt, but they arrested the driver of Dodge, who has been identified as 29-year-old Christopher Keushgarian, of Mount Sinai. Keushgarian was charged with driving while intoxicated.
The driver of the Jeep is not facing charges.
No one inside the home was injured.
