It is hot and humid again today. Highs reach near 95 degrees with overwhelming humidity. A Heat Advisory is in effect as a result of feel like temperatures exceeding 100 degrees. It's a rinse and repeat forecast. Storms return tomorrow night with strong gusts.
Modeling hasn't handled this well and doesn't look to be hugely problematic, but the risk for damaging wind is there for the entire state. Gusts can be in excess of 60mph in the strongest storms. Similar to yesterday, timing is expected in the late afternoon and evening but can be delayed by excess clouds/overcast. Storms will happen in a time window of 4 p.m. through 11 p.m. It truly depends on how fast the front is moving.
Saturday and Sunday are good days with lower humidity but hot afternoon temperatures near 90. Coastal sea breezes will keep the beaches more comfortable. It will be windier at the coast on Sunday, but late storms return for Sunday night again.
