Overnight and Beyond Expect a quiet and clear overnight across North Jersey as it prepares for a major shift in the weather pattern.

The Warm-Up An unseasonable warm-up takes hold for the first half of the work week. Temperatures in Newark will climb aggressively, hitting 76 on Monday and potentially soaring to a summer-like 89 by Wednesday. While the Jersey Shore may stay slightly cooler due to the sea breeze, the interior of the state will feel like the height of June.

Rain Chances The region is currently in need of moisture, but the upcoming week looks mostly dry for the Garden State. Aside from a slight chance of showers late Monday night, rain chances remain slim through the middle of the week.
