Morning rain clears out to a chilly afternoon across New Jersey. Despite warmer weather this previous weekend, temperatures today take a dip to the lower 40s for this afternoon after the rain. It will be rain free for the most part of this week with the exception of Friday.  The temperatures will swing over the next few days with highs generally below normal for Tuesday before jumping back to the 50s and 60s for Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures on Thursday have the opportunity to "runaway" as it can get as warm as the lower 70s if there is enough sunshine. However, there will be a warm front nearby that can cycle through mostly cloudy conditions, fog, and mist throughout much of the day.  Rain on Friday will be part of another cold front and temperatures will fall into the weekend. Saturday's high is quite cold at 44 degrees even though it will be sunny. The sun may actually make it feel much better, however.
