Some Jewish Long Islanders tell News 12 that stores like Wal-Mart are ignoring their faith by carrying a limited supply.
Every Wal-Mart has large sections filled with Christmas decoration, but little to no Hanukkah items.
Wal-Mart says it only sells Hanukkah decorations at three of its Long Island stores and online. Other local big box stores have limited amounts of decorations.
Rabbi Raphael Adler, of the Woodbury Jewish Center, tells News 12 that when Jewish shoppers enter stores and see decorations, they feel better about shopping.
Hanukkah starts on Nov. 27 and ends on Dec. 5.
