A construction worker is seriously injured during a partial building collapse in Crown Heights.

The Department of Buildings say that on Wednesday morning at 556 Howard Ave., the top two floors of the building collapsed due to heavy materials placed on the framework. The framework wasn’t properly braced and secured. The collapse injured the worker who was below the framework.

The DOB issued a Full Stop Work order on top of multiple violations to the contractor.
