Children at a Coney Island school got into the giving spirit Thursday by making Christmas a little more magical for some children in need.
Seventeen students from P.S. 188 delivered dozens of toys and holiday cheer to the Magical Years Early Childhood Center in Sunset Park and Lutheran Medical Center's Pediatric Department.
Some of the students who participated in the delivery say they learned a valuable lesson in having compassion for others.
News 12 is told the toys that were given out were donated by Engine 318 and the families of P.S. 188.
