A Nassau community came together Saturday to talk about safety strategies following a recent rash of break-ins in the area.
The break-ins happened during Memorial Day weekend in Williston Park.
Police say three homes were burglarized and one was an attempted burglary in the Stratford and Cushing avenues area.
Officials gave out tips and information to residents so they can be on alert and have some peace of mind.
Police are stepping up patrols and reminded residents to be on alert.
Nassau Police say that they've seen record low burglaries this year - down 37% percent from last year.
