A Commack woman was arrested for embezzling thousands of dollars from a summer camp.
Melanie Bergstedt, 47, pleaded guilty to stealing $250,000 from Iroquois Springs, which is headquartered in Commack.
The money was stolen during her employment between 2016 and 2020.
She stole the money by diverting payments made by customers into other bank accounts.
Bergstedt is charged with grand larceny and faces up to 15 years in prison.
