Commack School District is investigating an off-campus incident where two students were photographed wearing anti-Semitic T-shirts.
In one of the photos posted online, the two students are playing a drinking game while wearing red T-shirts. A large swastika is handwritten in the middle with black marker. The word "Auschwitz" is also in bold, and in smaller lettering, it says something to the effect of "hit the showers."
A statement from Commack schools says, "The district would like to state that the actions of these students are not representative of the student body at Commack High School. We do not condone or permit any form of discrimination, bullying, or hateful messaging."
Five months ago, five Commack High School students were disciplined after posting a photo on Twitter. The students were on-campus wearing shirts that spelled out the word "rape."
