Employees at Long Island Jewish Medical Center say the death of a nurse who worked there for more than 20 years has been devastating.
Police say 44-year-old Susan Cwass was struck and killed by a truck Monday while walking around a double-parked car outside her apartment in Queens. Police say the driver of the truck didn't have a license.
Doctors and nurses remember Cwass as a loving woman who devoted most of her years at the New Hyde Park hospital to the maternity ward, caring for women and children.
