The U.S. Coast Guard honored the heroes who saved a lobsterman from drowning after he fell overboard in the waters off of Montauk over the summer.

The recognition ceremony took place today in Montauk for the men who helped with the search and recovery of the lobsterman, John Aldridge.

Aldridge went overboard without a life vest back in July. He was lost at sea for 12 hours before he was found about 43 miles south of Montauk.

"Anna Mary," the lobster boat that Aldridge fell off of, was at today's ceremony, along with other local fisherman.
