So many Long Islanders have been there to see a concert or two or three, but there's a lot that’s brand new about Jones Beach Theater this season.
News 12’s Erin Colton shows you what to expect for this week's Road Trip: Close to Home.
Since last summer, there have been a lot of changes but the first difference is the entrance.
The security process is now an open gate screening process. There is also a new bag policy – you still need a clear bag, but the size has increased.
There's also an expanded plaza area where guests can enjoy food, hang out, take seflies and hang out on the grass.
On the east end of the theater, there is the sand bar area – where guests can sit down and relax before the show.
For spectators, there’s new luxury suites. In addition, anyone can add a VIP club pass to their ticket, which gives them a place to sit down and relax to watch and have waitress service.
Lastly, the backstage area has been renovated for the stars that boast the coolest views.
