A Central Islip woman was found unconscious in her home and later died at the hospital this weekend.
Shantel Scott's body was discovered in her home at 28 Naples Ave. early Sunday morning after a party there. Neighbors say the street was packed with cars and the party quickly spilled outside the home.
The 27-year-old was rushed to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death.
Scott is survived by her four children, who range in age from 1 to 9 years old.
