A Central Islip father is waking up in his own bed this morning, nearly four months after being detained by ICE.
An upstate Orange County judge freed Felipe Iniguez on bond Wednesday.
Iniguez came into the country illegally from Ecuador in 2001.
In August, Iniguez was stopped in Lloyd Harbor for driving with a broken tail light.
When village police booked him, his name appeared on an ICE list, so they alerted federal immigration.
Iniguez started petitioning for permanent legal residency after he got married two years ago.
