A man was fatally struck by a car inside a 7-Eleven parking lot early Wednesday morning in Center Moriches.
Police say Silverio Saldana-Trejo was walking in the lot on Wading River Road when a driver turned into the gas station and hit him just after 4:30 a.m.
A physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner pronounced the 60-year-old dead at the scene.
Police say the driver was uninjured. His vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
