A heartwarming celebration was held for a 5-year-old leukemia survivor who marked his last major cancer treatment.
Family, friends and neighbors drove in front of the boy's house Sunday to put on a parade in his honor.
Aiden had his final spinal tap last week after battling leukemia for the past three years.
"I'm overwhelmed from the very beginning everyone has rallied behind us especially today, in these times it's unbelievable to know that the support is still there, and that even with what the country is going through, these boys are still enough for everyone to come together and celebrate them," said Denise Schaeffer, Aiden's mother.
First responders also answered the call to help the boy and his family celebrate this huge milestone.
Aiden still has to undergo three more months of oral chemo, but his family and friends aren't letting this milestone go by without a celebration-- even amid a pandemic.
