Weapon-wielding patient fatally shot by police inside Brooklyn Methodist Hospital

Authorities say they received multiple 911 calls around 5:27 p.m. Friday for a violent man barricaded and armed with a knife. They were informed that the man had cut himself and other people while threatening to kill hospital staff.
