A former Carvel manager says refusing to serve a customer without a mask got him fired.
Thomas DeSarle says a customer was coughing into his hand when he entered the Glen Cove store last weekend.
DeSarle tells News 12 he offered the man a mask, but the man declined before trying to pay with a wet bill.
That's when the former manager says he spoke to his boss who allegedly responded angrily. Two days later, he was fired.
DeSarle's lawyer says they may file a complaint to the state or even a lawsuit.
