Cart, detergent hurled by knife-wielding attacker at Highbridge laundromat

Investigators say the suspect got into an argument with a 38-year-old man inside the business at 1395 Nelson Ave.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the person responsible for an assault that occurred at a Highbridge laundromat on Jan. 23.

Investigators say the suspect got into an argument with a 38-year-old man inside the business at 1395 Nelson Ave.

The dispute escalated when the suspect displayed a knife and began to throw detergent bottles.

He also threw a laundry cart, which struck the victim's leg.

The attacker was last seen fleeing the scene on foot near Edward L. Grant Highway.
